We are seeking a Fixed Equipment Engineer to be a vital part of our client's team at their Indiana plant. Your role will be integral in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of this cutting-edge chemical manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Manage Capital Projects Oversee projects of various scales focused on safety, reliability, and compliance.
Ensure Compliance Interpret and implement OSHA, ASME, NFPA, PSM, and EPA RMP regulations.
Lead Safety Efforts Manage processes like Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
Culture Strengthening Conduct audits, lead investigations, and provide training to promote best practices.
Offer Expertise Provide guidance on pressure vessel repair, tank maintenance, and safety standards.
Mentorship Support team members in upholding safety and engineering excellence.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in Chemical Process Safety or Combustible Dust environments preferred
Project Management Skills
Knowledge of PSM and safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API)
Strong communication and attention to detail
Experience with DHA, PHA, and regulatory compliance a plus
