This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support and maintain advanced laboratory instruments across the country, ensuring customers maximize the value and performance of their equipment. As a key technical resource, you will perform installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and user training, often working independently and directly with clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and values building strong customer relationships. Extensive travel is required, and initial technical training will be provided to set you up for success.
Accountabilities: Install, commission, and calibrate laboratory instruments at customer sites to guarantee optimal functionality and user confidence. Deliver comprehensive operation and software training to customers for safe and efficient technology use. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and enhance productivity. Provide timely phone and email support to resolve customer issues effectively. Maintain accurate service documentation and reports to support quality control and continuous improvement. Build and sustain strong customer relationships by offering responsive and reliable service. Adhere strictly to company policies, safety standards, and service excellence protocols. Requirements Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Engineering, Technical, or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing or repairing laboratory instruments at customer locations. Solid technical knowledge of optical, mechanical, electronic, and computer systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems independently. Detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting. Excellent self-management, multitasking, and time management abilities.
