Field IT Engineer Location: Onsite | Atlanta, GA Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Field IT Engineer to play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations across local, regional, and global teams. What You’ll Do

Provide onsite IT support for networks (LAN/WAN), telephony, printers, and user devices.

Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, desktops, and high-end engineering workstations.

Manage security protocols such as backups, recovery, audits, and virus protection.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in line with global service level agreements.

Deliver white-glove executive support , both in-office and remote.

Lead IT initiatives involving network installs, AV equipment, and corporate real estate projects.

Maintain IT asset inventories and manage vendor coordination and procurement.

Support IT planning, program execution, and business continuity efforts.

Oversee computer room operations and disaster recovery planning.

Execute IT refreshes, system upgrades, and implementation projects.

Collaborate closely with global and local IT teams, leadership, and vendors.

Troubleshoot hardware issues and manage component repairs or replacements.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or certification in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.

3–5+ years of technical support experience , with LAN/WAN troubleshooting.

Extensive experience supporting executive leadership in high-stakes environments.

Expertise in Microsoft Windows 11, Dell PC/server systems, and remote tools.

Proficiency with CISCO routers, switches, telephony systems, and network layouts.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN, and LAN technologies.

Skilled in structured cabling and managing complex enterprise infrastructure
