The role involves supporting operational systems at multiple military locations (CONUS and OCONUS), interfacing with users at all levels, and traveling up to 50%. The position is based in Columbia, MD with a hybrid work schedule. Essential Responsibilities: Troubleshoot complex server and network infrastructure issues. Provide technical support for application deployment and integration. Advise on hardware/software and support system tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of software and accreditation packages. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Current Secret security clearance (or TS+); U.S. Citizen. Minimum 9 years Linux Systems Administration experience with a Bachelor's degree, 7 years with a Master's, or 13 years with a High School diploma. Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python). Experience with software installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills. Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow). DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+). Ability to travel approximately 50%, with trips up to two weeks. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef). Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.). Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Higher security clearances (up to TS/SCI with Polygraph) are a plus.
