Candidate will be responsible for testing SW & HW on test platform using client modem chipsets as well as executing test cases and test scenarios and various traffic patterns to characterize physical/MAC layers, protocol layers and applications layers. Requirement:
Top 5 Required Skills 1 Exposure to Field Testing 2 Handset test experience with 5G/4G/3G operators or with commercial handset OEM’s 3 Exposure to one or more of the following: Understanding of digital communications systems, RF propagation, CDMA, OFDM, Cloud Testing, Telecommunication concepts 4 Valid US Driver’s License Technologies: 5G/4G/3G, *CDMA, *OFDM, *RF Propagation, *Telecommunication Concepts (one or more asterisks are required) Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering Required Years of Experience: 0-4 Preferred Qualifications: *Familiarity with air interface performance analysis, characterization and optimization. *Exposure to programming in C, Perl, Shell Scripting is a plus *Experience using QC tools like QXDM, QCAT, XCAL, TEMs *Exposure to commercial field test and data analysis tools for wireless telephony product verification *Exposure in one or more of the following areas: - Understanding of Physical/MAC layers and Call Processing concepts - Understanding of wire line and wireless data protocol stacks, to include RLP, PPP, IP, TCP, IPV6, MPIV6 - Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handset for various air interface standards - Familiarity with IP telephony network (SIP, IMS and IP telephony standards Driving Requirements: Yes, 40 hrs min.
