What You’ll Do:
Hardware Inspection & Testing : Perform hardware receipt inspections and burn-in testing for new equipment.
Hardware Installation & Relocation : Install, relocate, and conduct operation function testing on phones, printers, thin clients, personal computers, and other hardware.
Repair & Troubleshooting : Repair and test a variety of equipment including personal computers, tablets, mobile phones, printers, and more.
Electronics Knowledge : Use your expertise in electronics to troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure proper operation.
Preventive Maintenance : Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, including cleaning and servicing equipment such as terminals, printers, mobile phones, personal computers, and related devices.
Parts & Supplies Management : Submit timely requests for necessary parts and supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Spare Parts & Loaner Devices : Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and loaner devices to expedite repairs.
Problem Management : Utilize problem management systems to track issues to resolution, logging all corrective actions taken.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of specialized electronics/computer-related courses is required.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or Electronics is preferred.
Minimum of one year’s experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair is preferred.
At least one year’s experience with Windows 10, Apple products, and Microsoft Office is required.
A+ Certification and two years of experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair are preferred.
