Indrotec is urgently hiring experienced Facilities Engineers with a current Second Class (C2) Boilers License or higher to support school facilities in the St. Paul area.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
- Must possess and retain a Second Class Boiler license or higherissued by the State of Minnesota (No substitutions allowed).
- Pool Certification required within six (6) months of appointment if assigned to a facility with a pool.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of standard custodial practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with safe operation of tools, machines, and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of boiler and heating plant operation and maintenance.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with school staff, students, and the public.
- Physical endurance for continuous standing, walking, lifting, and other sustained activity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and push/pull up to 110 lbs.
- Comfortable with tasks requiring balancing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain boilers and mechanical systems; inspect, oil, grease, and repair equipment.
- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, windows, walls, and furniture.
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Perform grounds maintenance: mow lawns, remove trash, clear snow/ice, trim hedges.
- Open and secure building daily; monitor lighting and security conditions.
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Monitor and report fuel, water, and utility usage.
- Assist in swimming pool maintenance, including chemical treatment.
- Respond to emergency situations and follow safety procedures.
Working Conditions
- Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and mechanical equipment.
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Requires physical stamina and the ability to handle tasks involving lifting, bending, and climbing.
Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
