What You’ve Accomplished Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related Engineering degree

As an Experienced Thermal Hydraulics Codes and Methods Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Development Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. This job opening is for the BWR Thermal-Hydraulics Codes and Methods group, which is responsible for designing and developing numerical methods and the software primarily used to design, simulate, and license Framatome fuel products. The team performs research and development of new codes and methods, addresses emergent issues, and responds to requests from internal and external customers. Your work will include: Designing and implementing methodology, models, and fuel products used in nuclear power plants
Performing safety analyses in support of core design, safety analysis, and licensing of Framatome fuel
Interact with regulatory authorities and customers in the implementation of methodologies and fuel products This position requires occasional travel. The range of base salary for the position is between $106,000 - $144,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
