Description Entry-Level Systems Engineer - DCGS-N Program Location: North Charleston, SC About the Role - Join Leidos as an Entry-Level Systems Engineer on our innovative DCGS-N Program, supporting vital Afloat and Ashore systems. The DCGS-N is the Navy's premier Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system, and this role offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on experience and professional growth in a fast-paced setting. What You'll Do Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing tailored solutions and Technical Assistance (TA) reports to DCGS-N customers.
Travel (CONUS/OCONUS) to support urgent operational needs at shore and ship sites.
Assist in the installation and integration of DCGS-N systems in both afloat and shore environments.
Work collaboratively on system development, integration, design, documentation, and maintenance as part of a skilled team.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 2 years of experience (additional experience, training, or certifications can substitute for degree requirement).
Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Certifications: IAT II Certifications to meet DoD 8140 compliance, including CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) and training or vendor certifications in Windows, Linux, VMWare, and Cisco (CCNP/CCNA).
Proven knowledge of VMware platforms and virtual environments.
Familiar with docker and containerization concepts.
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line operations.
Experience with Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 environments.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with DevOps tools (Ansible, GitLab) and scripting languages (Python).
Understanding of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
Knowledge of enterprise domains (Active Directory, GPOs) and Microsoft/VMware systems.
Experience in ISR systems, Distributed Common Ground Stations, CANES environments, and basic networking.

EIO2024 Pay Range: Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
