Insight Global is excited to announce an opportunity for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer with a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S. Navy. This role is essential in helping ensure the integrity and design of naval vessels through rigorous analysis and collaboration. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will: Utilize software tools such as Navisworks and DDAM for conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA), particularly focusing on the foundations and overall design of ships. Engage in high-level Navy meetings to communicate project progress and ensure alignment with deadlines and scope, securing NAVSEA compliance. Work within a vibrant team dedicated to shipbuilding, leveraging and growing your skills in maritime engineering. The ideal candidate will possess: A background or relevant experience in the maritime shipbuilding industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering; experience with FEA is highly desirable, even if gained during college.
