They are looking for founding members of their Traffic Engineering team to manage traffic across their network and routing infrastructure reliably and securely. Responsibilities Serve as a founding engineer on a 3-person (plus plans to grow) Traffic Infrastructure software team. Assist in developing the vision and identifying high-impact early projects, and delivering your projects. Improve Airtable’s resilience to hardware issues (eg. network partitions, AZ loss, region loss, database failure), traffic spikes, and inefficient business logic. Evolve key foundations of Airtable’s infrastructure like RPC, service mesh, interprocess authentication, load balancing, route definitions, global traffic routing, and failure recovery.
