Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to contribute to a wide array of planning, design, and permitting projects. This role will involve working on industrial, institutional, commercial, multifamily residential, and athletic and recreation facilities development for both public and private clients. The position offers both field and in-office assignments, providing a diverse and dynamic work experience.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Staff Engineer on various planning, design, and permitting projects.
Engage in both field and in-office assignments.
Work on land or site development projects, focusing on athletic and recreation facilities.
Contribute to the design and engineering aspects of projects.
Participate in site development, permitting, land development, drainage, and stormwater management.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
2 plus years of experience related to land use and development.
Experience in hydrology, grading, and utilities for diverse development types.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.
Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
ABET accredited BSCE degree.
FE exam completion and professional licensure aspirations.
Familiarity with athletic/recreation facilities design and construction.
Knowledge of state and local permitting practices and sustainable design applications.
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid schedule with two days remote work per week, along with opportunities for site visits as necessary.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $39.00/hr.
