SUMMARY:

As a Process Engineer at B&G Equipment Company Inc, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes within the non-durable goods sector. We are seeking a results-driven professional to evaluate, improve, and document production processes with a focus on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your primary objective will be to design, implement, and refine processes that improve operational performance, reduce waste, and maintain product quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues. Utilizing advanced process simulation and control techniques, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with business goals and support sustainable manufacturing practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare package, label, and document outgoing shipments accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups while maintaining shipping records.
  • Cut netting materials to specified measurements, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
  • Inspect and label cut materials properly and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely for net cutting and packaging.
  • Load and unload shipment, ensuring proper handling and organization of goods.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area and support other warehouse duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 1–2 years of process engineering experience preferred
  • Experience with process simulations, SOPs, and CAD/AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and process optimization tools
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and process design software (preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
