Product Engineer:Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.* Bachelor's degree in Technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial preferred)* CAD drawing ability and skills (3D and 2D Drawings)* Organizes Team as the APQP Project Team Leader* Creates new or modifies existing engineering documentation such as DFMEA, PFEMA, flow charts, specifications, etc.* Ensures product supplied by Wako meet provided specifications through review of Customer specifications and standards* Must have a proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)* Must have a proficiency in English spoken and written communication (Japanese a plus)* Proficient in Customer interaction/technical support* Proficient in Supplier interaction/approval* Performs product testing (functional, reliability and in application)* Determine adherence of products to agency regulations and standards (UL, CSA, VDE)* Value Added/Value Engineering Cost Reduction Projects* Works with manufacturing and quality team members to resolve technical problems* Research and development, establish new designs, prototype, etc.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Louisville, KY 40299 (Required)Work Location: In person
