Job Summary: The Engineer position is responsible for supporting project work associated with their corresponding department. This may be functional or based on a particular disciplinary grouping (e.g. by client or technical group) and will generally form the reporting point for line managers within their group. Experience & Education: 1 year of industry experience required Relevant engineering degree required Advanced degree preferred Proven ability to manage client relationships Proven ability to manage quality, time, team and budget on small projects and on discrete scopes of work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to present at industry seminars/conferences/meetings Ability to travel offshore and internationally Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Obtain feedback from clients Identify and develop business opportunities On the job training for junior staff Develop proposals Issue weekly updates (as required) Develop engineering manuals Ensure client satisfaction through effective project delivery and QA/QC Ensure internal professional development actions are executed Ensure correct project/deliverable documentation Responsible for adhering to GATE policies and procedures in a positive manner Proactively work to create positive and professional culture within GATE Present at monthly meetings and lunch and learn sessions Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a background, drug screen and or physical GATE Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
