Core Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, M-F, flexible hours possible
Additional hours outside the above times/days may be required to support project activities. Periodic travel outside the SoCal area may be required.

Job Summary: Direct Digital Control (DDC), Energy Management Systems (EMS); collectively referred to as Building Automation Systems (BAS) design and programming of Schneider Electric; Andover Continuum and EcoStruxure Building Automation Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide BAS design, programming and graphic design in an office environment.
Develop design and submittal documents for approval of control strategies and products.
Provide on-site support, troubleshooting, repair for BAS systems in a new construction and live system environment
Provide strict testing and commissioning support as per specifications and in conjunction with installing contractors and commissioning agencies
Travel to and from customer locations throughout Southern California as required
Qualifications:
Schneider Electric; Andover Continuum and/or EcoStruxure programming experience (candidates with extensive experience with other non-Schneider building automation system platforms will be considered)
Skill in the programming of BAS systems for control of cooling, heating, and air-handling systems
Good communication skills to include verbal and written expression and interpretation in an engineering and construction environment to include process descriptions, test documentation, programming concepts and the ability to lead discussions with project stakeholders
Value Added:
Tridium Niagara programming experience
HVAC mechanical installation background
Industrial electrical panel design capability
BSc; BCS, BSME, BSEE degree or degree study
Language Skills:
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
