Electrical Engineer 1 Newport News, VA Contract $36.55-$39.89/hr
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Qualifications: Electrical Engineer 1 Bachelors degree and 2 years experience OR Masters degree and 0 years experience OR PDP apprentice certificate and 1 year of engineering experience. Requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Special Requirements: Electrical Engineer 1 • Troubleshooting and repair Communication networks. • Provide technical support of communication networks. • Support the development of Communication networks. • Network design and implementations • Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling. • Develop scope of work. • PPE Required: Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toes.
