DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
A Technical expert in internal and external composite repairs for Cat 1 thru Cat 5 damage.
Responsible for training Composite Technicians on repair processes and collecting the required data for repair reports.
Travel to Projects to resolve advance repair challenges or issues.
Ensuring that the repair scope aligns with the manufacturing requirements.
Make technical decisions by specialized knowledge and skills.
Main point of contact on all of our repair processes and repair documents with the Composite team and customers.
Create and communicate all repair instructions focusing on safety, quality, and Production.
Review incoming scopes of work to design repair dispositions for severe damage.
Ensure that Safety and Quality is maintained in our processes and deliverables.
Support the Training Coordinator in creating specialized hands-on Training for Composite Technicians and support them in the training matrix and competency program.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to implement new materials and repair solutions.
Efficient in problem solving, best practice sharing, and technical review.
Additional Duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
8 to 12 years of Composite Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
8 to 15 years of experience in the Wind industry.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
Willing to Travel
Strong leadership skills.
Strong communication skills including proficient in the English Language.
Proficient interpreting and understanding Engineering drawings.
Valid driver’s license
Targeted Salary Range - $115,000-155,000
