We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team! What you'll do: Integrate and implement software or system development components at all layers of the system Participate in design reviews, code review with peers and stakeholders to create reliable solutions Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues Collaborate with other teams to optimize the camera stack for performance, power efficiency, and complex use cases Design, implement, and maintain robust software tools for validating camera hardware and software behavior throughout the product lifecycle Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Software Development process skills including: source control, bug tracking, and design documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to read schematics and component data sheets Ability to use logic analyzers or oscilloscopes to aid in debugging digital systems Strong analytical and software debugging skills Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or electronic engineering or equivalent years of experience 2+ years of experience with embedded software development Proficiency programming in C or C+ Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of build/make systems (make, cmake, meson, etc.) Advanced degree in a relevant field such as computer science or electronic engineering Experience working with cameras, image sensors or other types of sensor If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don't be shy and provide us some information.
