Job Title: Embedded EngineerJob Description
Join an innovative team where you will work on cutting-edge projects involving motion control, network communications, and system-level programming. You will engage in embedded C/C++ programming with a focus on RTOS and contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle, including development, testing, design, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement motion control systems.
Facilitate network communications.
Conduct system-level programming in C#.
Program embedded systems using C/C++ with RTOS.
Participate actively in the software lifecycle including development, testing, design, and documentation.
Essential Skills
Proficient in embedded C/C++ programming.
Experience with microprocessors and RTOS.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Knowledge of operating systems, computer architecture, and computer networks.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum relevant co-op or internship experience.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Some experience with system-level C# programming is a plus.
Work Environment
Work onsite 100% of the time, in both office and lab settings. Join a smaller team of about 6-7 software engineers. The company culture promotes work-life balance, with a 980 schedule offering every other Friday off. Occasional travel to trade shows and test events may be required, with all expenses covered and no solo travel. The environment fosters innovation, being a NASA spin-off, with intriguing work and a strong team culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
