Qualifications:

BS/MS Electrical Engineering – 5+ years’ experience in embedded systems engineering (Aerospace or Defense industries)

Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting embedded boards

Proficiency with PCB layout tools, schematic capture, and firmware (a plus)

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and component sourcing

Familiarity with AS9100, IPC standards, or RoHS compliance, VME & cPCI components

Experience in reverse-engineering electronic systems, PCBs

Strong documentation skills]

Strong communication and project management skills

Responsibilities:

Lead full lifecycle engineering projects—from scoping to customer sign-off—despite incomplete data and a fragile supply chain

Rebuild design files from scratch using legacy samples and clever analysis

Create BOMs, schematics, and test plans for legacy boards that must match original form/fit/function

Partner with fab/assembly vendors and internal teams to get first articles right, fast

Ensure our customers' critical systems keep running by providing production-ready documentation and support
