PLC Controls Engineer

A growing industrial automation and robotics company is looking to hire a Controls Engineer. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial processes and equipment. There is no overnight travel involved! Responsibilities: Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).

Develop and integrate Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.

Perform system testing, commissioning, and startup of control systems at client sites or in-house facilities.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients to define project requirements and specifications.

Optimize control systems for performance, safety, and energy efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in PLC programming ladder logic, structured text), HMI/SCADA development OR Fanuc systems.

Experience with industrial communication protocols Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
