Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Remote
Status: Direct hire 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 annual salary

Job Description:
Electrical Engineer supporting Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for
emissions control in industrial and power generation applications. The engineer is
responsible for designing, specifying, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems
used in the operation and integration of SCR systems, ensuring compliance with
environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
•Design and develop electrical control systems for SCR equipment, including
sensors, PLCs, VFDs, HMI, and instrumentation in conjunction with control
engineer.
•Prepare electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams in compliance
with NEC, IEC, or customer-specific standards.
•Select and specify components such as temperature controllers, NOx sensors,
heaters, motors, and power distribution hardware.
•Integrate and program control systems, including logic for ammonia injection,
temperature management, and NOx monitoring.
•Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to ensure seamless integration
of electrical systems into SCR units.
•Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning activities.
•Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues during fabrication and
operation.
•Generate and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM),
test plans, and operation manuals.
•Participate in R&D efforts for SCR technology improvement, such as automation
and remote monitoring.

Qualifications:
Required:
•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
•3+ years of experience in industrial control systems, preferably in emissions control,
combustion, or process industries.
•Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for panel and schematic design.
•Working knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, UL, CE) and hazardous area
classifications (Class I Div 2 / ATEX).
Preferred:
•Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
•Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems, industrial communications (Modbus,
Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
•Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or working toward certification.
Skills:
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Willingness to travel for site support (~10-25%)
