Below are the minimum qualifications for each level. Compensation: Mid Level: $90,000 - $110,000 Senior Level: $117,000 - $141,000 PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION As an Electrical Engineer, you will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. This includes making important technical decisions and applying your extensive knowledge of engineering principles, industry codes, and regulations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Deliver in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. Provide hands-on technical consultation to identify and solve complex equipment and system problems. Oversee the management of engineering tasks through the entire project lifecycle. Execute assigned engineering tasks, applying your knowledge of engineering principles. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of your work, adhering to standard design criteria, practices, and procedures. Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses to support various technical projects and programs. Recommend innovative equipment and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations. Undertake other job-related responsibilities as directed by management, including emergency response duties and cross-departmental support during outages. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS For Mid-level E02 Engineer: B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience. For Senior E03 Engineer: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience. Comply with additional requirements set forth in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard regarding personnel selection and qualification for Nuclear Power Plants. Meet or maintain the minimum access requirements or unescorted access needs related to the position, alongside a favorable medical examination and/or testing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional Engineer Registration. Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
