Were seeking an Electrical Engineer to support nuclear power generation projects involving design upgrades, control systems, and system analysis. This role will focus on developing and refining electrical systems used in highly regulated environments, while working alongside other engineering disciplines to ensure compliance, reliability, and safety across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Support system upgrades and modifications within nuclear power generation facilities Develop and review electrical control circuit designs, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance Create and revise engineering drawings and documentation using CAD software Perform system-level calculations and analysis to validate design assumptions and load conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assist with system testing, commissioning, and reporting Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field 5+ years of experience in electrical design or analysis within nuclear or power generation environments Proficiency with CAD tools and interpretation of electrical schematics and diagrams Strong understanding of control systems, grounding practices, and power distribution principles Demonstrated experience with regulatory standards, design documentation, and technical specifications Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in safety-critical design work PE or EIT certification preferred but not required Design Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
