Alphanumeric is hiring an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Location: Lake Mary, FL (Onsite) W2 Only | Pay Range: $47-$51/hr Industry: Clean Energy | Gas Turbine Projects | Sustainability-Focused

Join an innovative, environmentally conscious energy company committed to advancing sustainable power solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to support gas turbine projects by designing low-voltage electrical distribution systems and auxiliary equipment. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of low-voltage (≤600V) power distribution systems, including MCCs, panelboards, LV transformers, DC systems, and batteries. Perform equipment sizing, cable/conduit sizing, illumination calculations, BOM maintenance, and other design tasks. Support specification and technical review of electrical equipment such as motor control centers and power supplies. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to validate power plant design. Respond to technical inquiries from vendors, customers, and field personnel. Generate electrical deliverables using SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) . Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience in power distribution design within industrial or energy sector projects. Proficient in equipment and cable sizing calculations and electrical standards. Hands-on experience with SmartPlant tools (SPEL/SPI) strongly preferred.
