This critical team oversees plant-wide infrastructure and drives the implementation of capital projects, providing essential technical support for building and maintenance operations.
As a Plant Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in executing projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will identify and resolve technical challenges while ensuring compliance with safety, health, quality, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to execute capital projects in our manufacturing facilities.
Manage electrical project components, including design, documentation, installation, and project management.
Develop innovative engineering solutions to enhance equipment reliability and safety, while reducing operating and maintenance costs.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for engineering and maintenance teams.
Design projects in alignment with ISO 14001 and Environmental Health and Safety standards.
Provide accurate cost estimates and project timelines to ensure successful project completion.
Review equipment quotes to verify compliance with specifications.
Support Production and Maintenance departments with technical assistance.
Coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, and procurement teams for seamless collaboration.
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel effectively.
Ensure adherence to all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned within the Plant Engineering department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
For level II: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; for level III: Minimum 5 years.
Strong ownership mentality and results-driven attitude.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Demonstrated good judgment, self-motivation, and commitment to safety.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Flexibility to adapt to diverse assignments and shifting priorities.
Hands-on experience and comfort working alongside shop floor employees and processes.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and other applicable technical codes.
Experience with 2D CAD modeling; AutoCAD/Vault experience preferred.
Willingness to work off shifts and travel as needed between facilities in Northeast Ohio.
