General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer to join us in our San Jose, CA location. This position provides an opportunity to further advance cutting-edge technologies that support some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The Electrical Engineer will be part of an innovative team that loves to evaluate RF systems, such as RADARs, jammers, or communications systems, including their software and signals, for capabilities, performance, and vulnerabilities. This individual is expected to work effectively in multi-disciplined engineering teams where communication and innovation are key.

Target salary range: USD $83,721.00/Yr. - USD $92,878.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
