Responsibilities Peraton Labs is seeking a Counter-C5ISR Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position will be on site 5 days a week. The chosen candidate will act in a technical engineering role supporting modeling and simulation, lab-based hardware in the loop simulations, and system development. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF electronic warfare. Key responsibilities include: Analysis and experimentation Signal processing experience, especially when working with radar systems and radar data. Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) waveforms and systems MATLAB for code development / interfacing with lab hardware / data analysis Preparation and presentation of technical data Planning and executing Army Science and Technology efforts Qualifications The ideal candidate will have these qualifications 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI US Citizenship Design knowledge and experience in the areas of RF and electrical engineering Knowledge of SAR architectures, capabilities and waveforms, and Counter SAR experience ISR operations RF closed loop HW evaluations (working with cable connected RF / Effects at raw IQ level) AiTR algorithms for wide area images / Wide area surveillance imaging and image processing Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
