As a Controls Engineer Level 1, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for industrial applications. This entry-level position requires a solid foundation in engineering principles and a willingness to learn about control system technologies and methodologies. Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of control systems based on project requirements.
Support senior engineers in creating control system architecture and specifications.
Participate in the programming and configuration of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
Assist in the testing and validation of control system functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers.
Document design specifications, test results, and project updates.
Requirements: Knowledge of control system fundamentals and principles.
Proficient knowledge and abilities with a few PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Basic understanding of schematic software such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, etc.
This is not a remote position. This role is onsite at the company address with minimum travel to jobsites as needed.
