Job Title: EDI Integration Engineer - CLEO, Cloud and SQL

Location: Remote - Chicago OR Illinois OR Wisconsin based only

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)

FLSA Status: Exempt


Overview:

We’re hiring an Integration Engineer to build, maintain, and support system integrations between our internal platforms and external trading partners. You’ll work closely with our Integration Project Manager and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth data exchange, troubleshoot issues, and support onboarding efforts. This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong EDI expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and external partners
  • Troubleshoot EDI and data transmission issues; respond to support tickets
  • Create and maintain mapping documents and integration specs for new/existing clients
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement and refine integrations
  • Participate in after-hours/on-call support and rotation schedule

What You Bring:

  • CLEO, SQL and Cloud experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in integration development (EDI, ERP)
  • Strong knowledge of EDI transaction sets (204, 210, 214, 810, 846, 850, 856, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947, 990)
  • Experience with AS2, VAN, SFTP/FTP protocols
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and integration tools like Cleo Integration Cloud
  • Exposure to WMS/TMS platforms in a logistics or supply chain context
  • Clear communication, strong documentation, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Ability to diagram and interpret complex integration flows
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks independently

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting with extended screen time
  • Occasional light lifting
  • Must be comfortable presenting and collaborating across teams
