This role plays a key part in maintaining high system availability, automating deployments, and ensuring optimal performance across environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both Windows and Linux server administration, experience managing CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in Atlassian Data Center products. Rate: $50 - $60 / hr. w2 Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Support and contribute to the CI/CD pipeline across dev, QA, and production environments. Administer and support Windows Server and Linux Server environments. Troubleshoot issues across the full stack: OS, network, web server (Apache/Tomcat), and application layer. Perform Atlassian Data Center product administration (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.) including upgrades, updates, and migrations. Maintain patching schedules and perform Windows patch rollouts with minimal downtime. Participate in a Tier 2-3 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems with fast, effective incident response. Support Java application deployments and runtime environments. Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to improve automation, monitoring, and reliability. Experience Requirements: Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role. Hands-on experience with build/release/deploy pipelines and automation tools. Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, or equivalent). Experience with Apache and Tomcat configuration and troubleshooting. Solid networking fundamentals, with experience in diagnosing network layer issues. Experience administering Atlassian Data Center products in a production environment. Windows patch management experience using WSUS/SCCM or equivalent. Comfortable participating in 24/7 on-call rotation for production systems. Familiarity with Java application configuration and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, HiTech, HL7). Experience with Docker or containerized application environments. Experience with Redis and queueing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
