Job Summary:

Are you interested in solving complex problems in industrial environments by building digital products using industry leading technology? What you will do:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the software development lifecycle.

Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of services.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for product-related issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve problems.

Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using cloud formation templates.

Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.

What you will have:

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

Systems Thinking: Knowledge of the critical interdependencies among individual system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Systems Software Infrastructure : Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

Consideration for Top Candidate:

AWS Cloud Practitioner

Additional AWS Certifications related to DevOps

Azure DevOps (ADO)

Experience performing root cause analysis on CI/CD pipelines, AWS CloudFormation stack deployments and/or AWS IAM permission issues.

Automation/Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or equivalent)

Understanding of Industrial IoT (telematics)

This position will be based out of our Virginia Beach, VA office

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
