Responsibilities: Update existing automation programs and develop new infrastructure automation for deploying and managing core emerging messaging software (Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ, etc.) in internal or external cloud environments. Capture business requirements from multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design solutions. Work closely with Application Development/Support teams to understand messaging protocol usage within applications. Document business requirements and develop plans to address identified problems or needs. Develop testing automation, troubleshoot during testing, and analyze IT security standards and policies for complex projects. Provide IT security and automation expertise, establish baseline security standards, identify threats and risks, and recommend preventive measures. Enable secure environments by designing and implementing risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within policies, and interfacing across organizational units. Key skills include IBM MQ, automation with Ansible/Terraform, Kafka, Python, Linux/UNIX Shell Scripting, Ping Access, Certificate Management, Cloud (Public & Private), Agile Development, and Messaging Software (MQ/IIB, Kafka, Tibco). Manage large-scale enterprise deployments in internal and external cloud environments.
