What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance software delivery processes, drive automation efforts, and ensure system reliability. This role focuses on enabling development teams through modern DevOps practices and reliability engineering.


Who You Are

You are an experienced DevOps professional with hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts, boards). You are proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python and have a strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools in the Azure ecosystem. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities. You are an excellent communicator, a proactive problem solver, and someone who is passionate about enabling development teams to succeed.


What Youll Do

  • Collaborate on the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for .NET Core and Angular applications.
  • Implement quality gates, automated testing, and release orchestration.
  • Participate in incident response and postmortem processes for deployment-related issues.
  • Enhance observability of CI/CD pipelines and application deployments using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Drive automation to reduce manual intervention and operational toil.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineering on performance testing and capacity planning.
  • Support release processes and coordinate deployments across environments.
  • Contribute to progressive delivery strategies such as blue/green deployments and canary releases.
  • Ensure safe, auditable, and repeatable deployment practices.
  • Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps) and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.


This position requires minimal travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.


What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in DevOps or software engineering.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repos, artifacts, and boards.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
