About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions supporting a variety of mission-critical applications. Our organization is automation-first, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices to deliver efficient, consistent, and secure cloud solutions.
You’ll work across AWS, Azure, and GCP using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes , collaborating with engineering and product teams to develop provider-agnostic solutions. The infrastructure you support will serve a diverse client base, including government and private sector organizations engaged in high-impact, government-related missions.
Key Responsibilities
Write, modify, and run Terraform from an existing codebase to deploy and maintain infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms.
Run and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks for customer infrastructure.
Manage infrastructure code using GitLab with multiple repositories; create merge requests for changes.
Configure, build, and deploy containerized services with Docker and/or Kubernetes .
Analyze traffic flow between customer and hosted environments to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs and governance artifacts.
Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging solutions for multi-tenant cloud environments.
Apply a security-first mindset to all responsibilities.
Use generative AI tools (within security guidelines) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and security.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5–8+ years of experience with:
Python, Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, Vault, Identity Management
Unix/Linux OS administration and troubleshooting
Networking fundamentals : IP routing, subnetting, DNS, TCP/IP
Experience with foundational cloud services in AWS, Azure, and GCP .
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and scripting/programming for automation (Bash, Python).
Strong skills in RBAC design, logging, and cloud environment log processing.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow and Jira .
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in large-scale distributed system design and troubleshooting.
Ability to debug and optimize code, automate workflows, and solve complex problems systematically.
Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and a drive for delivering exceptional results.
