Their mission is focused on delivering secure, cloud-native solutions for critical government clients-and they’re currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Ft. Meade.
In this role, you’ll support a high-visibility DoD/IC initiative, helping to modernize cloud infrastructure, improve automation workflows, and enable rapid software delivery. You’ll be working in a collaborative, mid-sized team and interfacing with top engineers across the full development lifecycle. What You’ll Do: Architect and implement scalable, AWS-based hosting and backup/recovery solutions.
Drive DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues and improve overall performance and stability.
Automate the movement of code and infrastructure across secure environments.
Optimize AWS billing practices and minimize cloud resource overuse. Must-Have Experience: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (mandatory).
Strong Python scripting and programming capabilities.
Hands-on experience with microservices/container orchestration using Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes (including ArgoCD, Helm, and Prometheus ).
Deep understanding of CI/CD tooling like GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab Runners.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi.
Experience building AWS-native cloud solutions and hosting applications in public cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Skills: Experience with ElasticSearch , Kibana , and Grafana .
Golang development experience.
Familiarity with supporting multiple tech stacks across secure environments.
Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment tools and improving automation strategies.
A strong advocate for DevOps culture-bringing others along the journey and improving adoption.
Master’s degree in a related technical field.
Prior exposure to NGA or IC domain environments . Experience Level Guidelines (Education Substitutions Allowed): Mid-level : BA/BS + 4 years
Senior-level : BA/BS + 10 years
