Design Engineer – Land Development Southland Consulting Engineers has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Land Development Engineer to join the LD team in our Dallas-based office!
Responsibilities Support our LD division by independently performing site and land development engineering assignments with specified objectives for a variety of residential, commercial, and data center projects Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and exercise time management skills to balance multiple projects and priorities Prepare Engineering Plans to ensure that all aspects of project implementation are clearly conveyed with high quality Assist with developing scopes of work and associated budgets to create feasible deadlines Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations Qualifications 1+ years of design experience with a civil engineering firm Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or the appropriate combination of work/education experience Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (PE) License in the State of Texas Working knowledge of and experience with Civil3D Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a collaborative team environment Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of their engineering work and contribute to the overall success of the business Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
