Overview

Triaplex, Inc. (A wholly owned subsidiary of VTG) is looking for a Radio Frequency Focused Software Engineer with a background in DSP (Digital Signals Processing), C++, and Python to join our team. This position will support a mission-focused customer during the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements Debug existing software and correct defects using C++ and Python. Utilize RF domain knowledge to implement processing stages and algorithms. Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces Generate automate scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly; Poly Date within the last seven (7) years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional DSP (Digital Signals Processing) experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. May substitute two (2) years' experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science Seven (7) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer Seven (7) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language
