On site expectations are 2-3 days per week.The pay range for this position is $80,000- $85,000. Role overviewYou will be in a Agile Sprint team working with BSAs and Engineers to deliver Data Integration projects. As a member of this agile team, you'll be doing story grooming, planning, daily stand-up, deployment review, sprint demo, retrospective, and other supporting technical discussions.A day in the life...Work with partners and stakeholders to determine requirements for the ingestion or extraction of data sets in support of Accolade's services.You will be largely working on new customer implementation projects to build data integrations and integrate with Accolade systems to support our business operation. All the required work will be sliced into epics, stories and tasks into our backlogs. You will work with the rest of the team to groom, plan and commit to stories for sprint (2 weeks) deliveries.Build, test and deploy data pipelines to deliver high quality data integrations to meet business requirements.Investigate data quality issues reported by partners, perform root cause analysis and work with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues.Work internally with partner teams to trouble shoot platform issues that may impact ingestion or extraction of data. Determine root cause of issues and work on continuous improvement activities to improve data quality and consistency.Work with partners and stakeholders to answer data questions and support Issue Management activies to resolve data quality issues.Outside day to day sprint work, we provide opportunities for new technology and cross functional trainings, and encourage people to work on innovation projects.Your are expected to utilize critical thinking and analytic skills to define requirements and interface definitions for new and existing interfaces, the work will include analyze data files, data layouts and data dictionaries from providers of health care administrative data (eligibility, account/plan, medical claims, pharmacy claims) to understand data structure and operating rules for transforming to common data format, and create source to target mappings.Become the subject matter expert for Accolade's platform and dataYou will be able to coordinate and facilitate consistency of the data model across multiple initiatives and leverage the Accolade standards for all existing and future customersWhat we are looking for...Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or other related fields2+ years of hands on experience with data centric testing methodology and working in database environment, preferably working with healthcare claims and enrollment data, and exposure to Talend or other ETL tools is a plus. Familiarity and background in using automated and static test tools. (Microsoft Test Manager, Jira, etc.)Strong SQL skills to support data analysis and test scripting to validate data, knowledge of multi-dimensional models, including experience testing slowly changing dimensions (SCD) and change data capture (CDC) procedures.Experience on an Agile development team working in a continuous integration development model. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.Ability to analyze data and process flows, able to collaborate development of business requirements and functional specifications to align data processes with business goalsPossess a strong background in data warehousing principles, architecture and its implementation in large environments.The salary range for this role is:$69400-$104100AnnuallyTotal Rewards Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.
