Data Engineer - Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) . Work independently and as Lead of the enterprise CRM Data Integrity Service Center, participating in all aspects of data audit, reconciliation, analysis, and entry/processing related to the vended applications included in the IU Salesforce CRM platform. Duties include: review university source integrated data to identify potential duplicate records; conduct research on external organizations; reconcile duplicate records through merging of primary entity and ancillary relationship data; complete research/analysis of external organization business structures to determine and establish record hierarchies based on established university standards; respond to user requests to establish new organization records following all established process guidelines and parameters; respond to user requests for related analytic reports based on submitted criteria for the purpose of data driven decisions that impact and guide university business practices; and, assist with development and data verification of executive summary reports that include select aggregated data related to external organizations and points of contact.
Qualifications
Reqs Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, or closely related field. Requires 1 year experience with: using Salesforce CRM, specializing in the creation of custom reports and data visualizations through the Salesforce reporting and dashboard features; designing and developing interactive dashboards using Power BI in conjunction with ArcGIS, proficient in translating complex data into visually compelling representations on geographic map views; utilizing Excel VBA programming to create custom tools for automating data integration and manipulation tasks, resulting in streamlined daily operational workflows; utilizing Denodo, showcasing a robust command of SQL, including the creation of intricate queries featuring multiple subqueries, complex joins, aggregations, and hierarchical queries, primarily employed for generating de-duplication reports.
