Project Office Leader For Engineering Services

The Global Project Management Office team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader for our Project Office for Engineering Services. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects by providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership. Key job responsibilities include implementing solutions for data storage, reporting, science and analytics. Incorporate big data solutions to enhance machine learning, analytics and reporting capabilities. Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines. Setup internal dashboard tools for data visualization. Work across teams to gather requirements for data logging, storing, transforming, and reporting, and build scalable solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience building large-scale, high-throughput, 24x7 data systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  • Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
  • 3+ years experience in Project Management and Product Management

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
