Data Engineering Leader

Nashville, TN | Hybrid (1–2 days onsite/week)

$150K–$180K base + bonus + stock options

This is a strategic, high-impact position where you'll collaborate directly with the CIO and oversee a team of data engineers, data scientists, and architects.

As the Data Engineering Leader, you'll bring structure, accountability, and forward-thinking leadership to a growing team. This isn’t a hands-on coding role—but we’re looking for someone who has done the work and knows how to guide others from experience. You’ll help set technical direction, provide real-time feedback, and mature the team’s practices.

Key Requirements:

5+ years as a Data Engineer 5+ years leading data professionals Strong communicator with executive presence; able to push back professionally when needed Experience with at least one of the following systems: SAP, Snowflake, or Salesforce Deep ETL experience — you’ll help select and implement a formal ETL tool Familiar with dbt for building data pipelines Understands Agile methodology — ideally has helped drive Agile adoption Interested in learning more?
