Build and maintain mechanisms to retrieve, aggregate, and deliver high-quality operational data for downstream analytics. Continuously optimize data performance and address challenges in extract, transform, load (ETL) pipelines. Investigate anomalies in reporting data, identify root causes, and implement fixes that improve overall system trust. Maintain data integrity and lead with best practices in test design, validation, documentation, and quality assurance. Qualifications: Required: Proficiency in SQL for complex data queries and performance optimization. Experience in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Node.js. Familiarity with modern data architecture tools like Glue, Firehose, Lambda, or other event-driven pipeline systems. A commitment to excellence in data quality, observability, and continuous improvement. Clear communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or business intelligence development. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related technical field. Strong understanding of operational datasets and building data products that scale. Previous exposure to large, complex data ecosystems and distributed environments.
