About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support the design, deployment, and sustainment of advanced security capabilities in secure enterprise environments. The role blends systems engineering, tool integration, and technical analysis to maintain mission readiness and protect critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain operational readiness of enterprise security platforms through proactive monitoring, patching, and performance tuning
  • Integrate and enhance security tools and data pipelines, enabling faster detection, analysis, and response
  • Identify and address vulnerabilities by conducting technical assessments and delivering remediation strategies to leadership
  • Manage system lifecycles including hardware/software acquisition, configuration, and secure deployment into production
  • Develop documentation and deliver training to ensure effective adoption of security tools by authorized personnel
Required Qualifications
  • Active security clearance (TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph)

  • Bachelors degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent: Masters + 6, PhD + 4, Associates + 10, or 12+ years without a degree)

  • Expertise in Linux and/or Windows environments

  • Experience with Java, Python, and modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular)
  • Hands-on work with SIEM/log platforms (Splunk preferred) and data technologies (ElasticSearch, NiFi)
  • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases

  • Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND)
