Title: Cyber Security Operations Engineer

Location : Carrollton, TX (Hybrid) Employment Type : Contract,

Compensation Pay Range:$22.05-$31.50/Hrs

Description Execute complex cybersecurity operations and incident response initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity measures. Provide expert guidance to junior analysts and other teams. Conduct business impact analysis to ensure adequate protection of resources. Participate in on-call rotation to ensure continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities Operate enterprise security services such as monitoring and incident response. Use security tools to analyze suspicious events and determine root causes. Perform threat analysis using proactive and reactive methods. Ensure development and maintenance of security controls. Support incident response efforts and participate in drills.

Qualifications Degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years of combined IT and cybersecurity work experience. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and Email Security Gateway. Understanding of cybersecurity industry frameworks. Good written communication skills for translating technical issues. Experience supporting major incident response activities.
