Responsibilities As a Cloud Network / Systems Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing cutting-edge cloud-based network solutions that power mission-critical operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to:
Collaborate closely with customers to review and refine their requirements, ensuring seamless integration of advanced network systems that drive mission success.
Architect and implement high-performance data networks to support cloud operations, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Lead the design and integration of new network systems, ensuring they are secure, resilient, and tailored to evolving operational needs.
Work side-by-side with engineering and network teams , transforming customer requirements into innovative, real-world solutions.
Develop and configure network infrastructures while proactively monitoring and maintaining performance, security, and reliability.
Create detailed specifications and schematics for network architecture, helping to shape the backbone of cutting-edge cloud environments.
Select and implement the best hardware, techniques, and tools to meet both present and future capacity requirements, ensuring long-term scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications Must have:
Twenty (20) years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
Strong Network Engineering & Systems Engineering background supporting activities involving latest technology in support of Cloud Operations.
Experience/Expertise in all areas of network hardware and interconnection, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Designing and implementing failover solutions for major customers.
Experience with appliances (ASA), Cisco Nexus 9k's, Cisco 2960-XR Layer 2 switches, and configuring switches like 9332, 9336, 9508, ASR 1009, 1013, 1003, installing GRE tunnels, MPLS, and conducting redundancy tests on Cisco network equipment.
Desired:
Experience in designing and implementing data networks supporting Cloud Operations.
Knowledge of network management protocols.

Target Salary Range $190,000 - $304,000, depending on experience and other factors.
