Position: Critical Infrastructure Technician (Logisitics)
Location: Cheyenne, WY
What This Job Involves Critical Systems Support
Monitor, operate, and maintain critical facility infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, HVAC, and electrical distribution.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring swift resolution and thorough documentation.
Logistics & Inventory Management
Coordinate the receipt, storage, and movement of critical equipment and materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Schedule and oversee deliveries, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
Support asset tagging, tracking, and documentation of infrastructure components.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Liaise with vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and equipment deliveries.
Ensure all third-party personnel adhere to site safety and operational procedures.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safety & Risk Management
Enforce safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
Support emergency response drills and incident investigations
Sound Like You? Here's What You'll Need Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments, or in a logistics-focused role.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with logistics, inventory systems, and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of building automation, water treatment, and fire/life safety systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office automation tools.
Positive team attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to walk long distances across campus.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Target compensation is $27-34/hr
