Klosterman Baking Company is s in search of a strongly motivated and self-starter Controls Engineer to handle our production processes. You should be able to review the plant processes and suggest improvements. You should be able to develop and implement maintenance checks., maintain a detailed and accurate record of the control processes, and must be able to work independently and collaboratively. You should have an eye for detail and strong troubleshooting skills all while maintaining the highest emphasis on human safety and product quality. Controls Engineer Responsibilities: AutoCAD LT (Panel Schematics) Automation controls, electrical design & Panel experience Strong PLC programming skills with Allen- Bradley controllers (ControlLogix experience desired) Filed experience troubleshooting PLC based control systems HMI programming skills with Rockwell software such as FactoryTalk, ViewSE, Servo & VFD Drive Controller experience Utilize tools such as temperature and humidity sensors, thermal energy output monitors, etc Ability to manage projects, schedules, and interface with vendors Provides troubleshooting assistance to plant in the event of equipment malfunction Conduct staff training Controls Engineer Requirements: Reports to the Plant Engineer and Plant Manager Excellent oral and written communication skills Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related experience Ability to work weekends and Overtime as needed (Must Be Adaptable) Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems Must be able to find creative solutions to problems as they arise Capability to work with minimal supervision and a high level of initiative Experience in a bakery is desired but not required Company Benefits: Medical and Vision Insurance Dental Insurance(After one year) 401k Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability (Company Paid!)
