ProMach's division is seeking a talented Controls Engineer to contribute to the success of the company by driving the growth and profitability of the company’s product lines. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager and is located in our Alexandria, MN facility. , based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide. Through multiple brands, Pro Mach provides product packaging and processing equipment, PMMI-certified training, installation, parts, and service for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, end-of-line packaging, and identification and tracking. For more information on Pro Mach’s brands visit . Are you passionate about this work? Develop PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects. Create I/O list and work with electrical designers to develop BOM and electrical schematics. Commission, test, debug robotic and casepacking equipment at Brenton facility. Ensure Brenton electrical standards are followed in controls designs. Provide technical support for electrical controls and troubleshooting for BEC customers both in the field and telephone troubleshooting. What’s in it for you? Knowledge of robotic applications and components including Allen Bradly PLCs, Fanuc robots, remote I/O devices, VFDs, servos, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision, and various industrial networks. Proficient in Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, and Roboguide. Ability to work independently as well with others. Ability to work in Microsoft’s Office products (Word & Excel) Ability to understand electrical schematics and read 2D & 3D AutoCad mechanical drawings.
